By Entering our event you agree to the following terms and conditions
REFUNDS
You are eligible for a full refund (minus the RACE SPACE booking fee) within the 14 days cooling off period from the day of booking. The cooling off period does not apply where a booking is made within 21 days of the event date
EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
The Event Organiser reserves the right to alter the start time of the Event. In the event of a change of start time the Participants will be notified of the revised start time with as much notice as reasonably practicable. No refund in full or in part shall be made for any change in start time for an Event provided the Event takes place on the specified date of the Event.
The Event Organiser reserves the right to change the date or location of the Event in any unforeseen circumstances out of our control. In this case you will have 14 days from the announcement of the new date in which to request a refund or deferral, after which no refunds will be given.
Participants may exchange their entry for a transfer credit via the Race Space website valid at any of our other events up to 1 month before the event. A £20.00 administration charge will be levied by the Event Organiser.
KOM Events reserves the right to grant deferrals at shorter notice at the discretion of the event organiser however, once a deferral has been granted no further deferrals or refunds will be allowed.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
In consideration for being granted the right to participate, the Participant must pay the Entry Fee set out on the Entry Form.
The Participant shall complete the Entry Form online and submit it together with payment of the Entry Fee online in accordance with the Event Organisers’ website.
The Participant shall not be eligible or entitled to participate in the Event until full payment of the Entry Fee has been received by the Event Organiser. No payment shall be deemed to have been received until the Event Organiser has received cleared funds.
PARTICIPATION
The Participant acknowledges that participation in the Event is physically strenuous. It is acknowledged that participation in the Event will be physically demanding and the Participant is aware of the nature of the Event and associated medical and physical risks involved.
The Event Organiser reserves the right at any time to remove Participants from the Event or prevent Participants participating in the Event and future events, if in the Event Organisers sole discretion, it considers such action necessary for safety reasons or the proper enjoyment of the Event by other Participants or for any other reasonable reason. No refund of the Fee shall be made if the Participant has acted negligently, maliciously, with wilful misconduct or otherwise without due care and attention for the Event or other participants, so as to cause his/her removal/disqualification ; the said athletes may also face a life ban from all events.
Race packs must be collected by the athlete only, with appropriate photographic personal identification.
The Participant agrees that he/she is physically capable of competing in the Event and agrees to be solely responsible for his/her actions and the Event Organiser, its officers, employees, agents, affiliates, associated companies, sponsors or medical advisers are not responsible for any injury or illness that the Participant may suffer as a result of his/her participation in the Event
While the Event Organiser takes every care with the staging of the Event, the Participant acknowledges that personal accident and personal items insurance is his or her sole responsibility
The Participant acknowledges and accepts that circumstances concerning an Event may change from time to time for reasons out of the Event Organiser’s control.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, which results in potentially unsafe conditions KOM Events Ltd will either: Amend the course to make the event safe. Or Where conditions cannot be made safe, cancel the event.
DISCLAIMER
You participate entirely at your own risk. Except only for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence we accept no responsibility whatsoever for any injury, illness, loss or damage to property and possessions, action, claim, economic loss, cost or expense howsoever caused which may arise in consequence of your participation in the event.
Pre event information
To be optimally prepared for the any KOM Events, We highly recommend to read the athlete guide carefully. This will be sent at one week before any event.
Medical information
In certain cases, you may need to check your doctor is happy for you to take part in any KOM Events event.
This might be because:
You have a pre-existing medical condition
You have an unstable medical condition
You are pregnant
You have experienced a recent illness, injury, surgery or hospitalisation
You agree to complete the medical notes and details in full when signing up to any KOM Events event. Failure to comply with this will end up in your entry being cancelled.
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR
During any KOM Events event you must not do any of the following
commit a criminal offence
interfere with the staff or third party partners in carrying out their duties
fail to obey the instructions of staff (including those relating to safety matters)
consume alcohol
appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or be in unlawful possession of drugs;
Make a threat – even as a joke
threaten to or actually endanger KOM Events or Third party partner property
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If you have any health concerns or are uncertain whether you are fit to participate, please contact your GP before you enter. If you have medical conditions that may affect you during the race or are taking any medication(s) you are required to indicate these on the back of your race number, so that it is evident in the event that you need medical attention during the race.

RACE NUMBERS
You will be provided with an event/race number which you must conspicuously wear as directed during the event. You will not be permitted to participate without the appropriate number. Anybody found wearing the wrong number may be disqualified and may be refused entry into any future KOM Events. Event/ Race numbers must be worn as issued not be altered, cut, folded or otherwise concealed or mutilated in any way. It is a condition of entry that all participants must complete the contact details and medical information (if applicable) on the reverse of the race number.
COLLECTION OF RACE NUMBERS
You are responsible for arriving in adequate time for parking, walking to the start and collecting your race number and timing chip from Race HQ and completing the contact details and medical information (if applicable) on the reverse of the race number before racing. Race number and timing chip will be available for collection on the weekend of the race. Evidence of entry and valid identification may be required to collect them so that we can ensure that the correct number and chip are collected. Further information will be provided on the company and event Facebook pages and in the Race Details email which will be sent to all entrants prior to the race.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Due to the nature of the Event, you may be photographed or videoed at the Event. By entering into this Agreement, you give Us together with our Event sponsors permission to use any photographs or videos taken of You at the Event throughout the world in all and any media, including in any promotional and advertising material of ours or our sponsors. You confirm that You do not
object to Us or our sponsors storing copies of the photographs taken or videos filmed for use in connection with any promotional or advertising activities.
In accordance with the Copyright, Designs & Patents Act 1988, the copyright of all images created by the Photographer is owned by the Photographer. Unless the Photographer gives written authorisation, the Client is forbidden by law to copy any images created by the photographer and agrees that all photographic reprints, digital duplications or copies of any type made from images created by the Photographer shall only be carried out by the Photographer. The licence to reproduce such images is granted to the Client on the understanding that all invoices are paid within the Photographer’s stated payment terms. You can contact our photographer to discuss a copy of the photo.
